Can we update the index data by importing the excel/csv files into the SentryFile database.
Is there any webservice which can do bulk updation ?
Which would be the best way to do this?

Hi,

Answers below:

"Can we update the index data by importing the excel/csv files into the SentryFile database. "

SentryFile stores the index information in an SQL Server database. If you are familiar with SQL Server, you may be able to examine the database structure and update the data. It may require that you create some custom queries to update the information. Very Important!! Before doing anything with the SentryFile Database, make and verify a backup so that you can restore if something goes wrong!

Yes, you can use the Web Services to update index information. You must be familiar with SOAP web services and have experience with software development. More information about the web services is here:

Both methods will work. It depends on your comfort level with the options available to you.

Regardless of which method you select, be sure to backup your system beforehand.

Thank you
